to ensure a safe Reopening for us all please read the following guidelines

The safety and wellbeing of all users is our priority.

Fortunately our membership is small and based on our size we can accommodate 28 people at any one time in total gym area. That said, our usage is spread throughout the day and it is unlikely we reach that number. If we do become busy at certain times we will have introduce a booking system for busier periods.

***This is one of the most important requirements we must follow. Please bring your membership card to swipe in. We are required to record every visit for contact tracing***.

Please keep your workouts to 60 mins max.

There is hand sanitiser to use before entering the gym and on the gym floor.

An important guideline is the provision of enough air circulation. We normally aim to have as much air flow as possible through the building and this the one advantage of having natural ventilation as opposed to air conditioning.

There is a small change to our opening hours for us to perform a deeper clean at the end of each day. We will close at 8.30pm not 9pm Monday to Friday and 1pm on Saturday. On our reopening weekend we will be open 8am – 1pm Saturday and Sunday.

From the 2nd of August we will remain closed on a Sunday for a deep clean and will review hours as our membership recovers.

We have moved equipment to maintain social distancing though this has meant that certain pieces will be out of use but we’re on hand to suggest alternatives. There is also floor markings and cones outside designating 2m distancing.

Members can bring guests but this must be pre-arranged and is subject to user numbers. No non-member casual use at this time.

Please come ready to train in your kit whenever possible to avoid use of the changing rooms. They will be in use but only for those circumstances where you have to change or shower. Social distancing should be adhered to.

Please bring your own filled water bottle. We are happy to re-fill but the water fountain is out of use.

No gym towels at this time.

Before and after you use a piece of kit you should wipe all touch points. Paper towels and sanitiser will be available on the gym floor.

It is preferred that you leave via one of the emergency exits to avoid un-necessary crossing over in reception.

Please respect social distancing when on the gym floor though we appreciate in our environment this will feel a little unnatural and restrained.

The most important element is common sense. We will be performing enhanced cleaning regularly to keep hygiene levels high. You have been making some great efforts to maintain your fitness and we can’t wait to help get your strength back up after a few regular workouts!
