Mike enters the World Transplant Games

WTG2015_logo_150(1)Mike Grisenthwaite (Cyclists Fighting Cancer Charity) one of Healthworks members competes in the World Transplant Games  in Mar del Plata, Argentina from 23rd to 30th August 2015. He will race in the 30km cycling road race and the 20km time trial. Mike was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2000 aged 37, as a triathlete and cyclist his reaction was to take the cancer head on by staying fit no matter what.  Within six months of completing treatment he finished the Lanzarote Ironman Triathlon race (2.4mile swim, 112 bike and a marathon run). He is now working with Healthworks owner Jason in the gym to strengthen up ready for the Games. After organising so many fundraising events for the charity these games are a personal challenge to Mike that he is hugely excited about.
